Mayor Brad Staton
Brad Staton was born and raised in Madisonville, Kentucky. He began working in Henderson in June 1999 in an entry-level position at Gibbs Die Casting, relocating permanently to the Henderson area in 2003.
Brad graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southern Indiana. He left Gibbs Die Casting, after having promoted his way up through five different departments, in 2006 to pursue a career in investment management. He currently owns his own investment firm in Downtown Henderson called "Staton Investment Management," which he has operated since 2011.
Brad is a past school board member (through 2016) and was a city commissioner and Mayor Pro Tem for the city of Henderson from 2017 through the end of 2022. He is a graduate of Henderson Leadership Initiative and an original
founding member of the Rotary Colonels 2 College Scholarship Program. His very diverse background includes graduating from Delphi Lean Manufacturing College, becoming a Shainin (problem-solving discipline) Master, winning the "Rotarian of the Year" and "Service Above Self" awards, and advancing to the national American Private Enterprise Systems (APES) conference/competition.
Along with his wife, Kristie, Brad is a proud parent to two amazing children. He would love nothing more than to work with and alongside so many other caring Hendersonians to continue to improve upon an already great city in hopes that one day his children decide to raise families of their own right here in our hometown.
