SPRING CLEANUP WEEK, SPONSERED BY THE CITY OF HENDERSON PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT - Now is the time to clean up your yard and garage of unwanted items. This service is for residential use only. It is not for vacant property, commercial use, construction or demolition projects. The City of Henderson will be taking calls the week of April 22 – 26 to request the pickup of items. Please call 831-1224 during that week to schedule a free pickup of your items. There is usually a large participation, so please be patient and items will be picked up as soon as possible. It may take up to 3 weeks to pick up your items. We will pick up small tree limbs, furniture and other large items that you would normally take to the landfill. Please separate spring cleanup items from regular household garbage. We will not pick up tires, batteries, oil, paint, air conditioners, and refrigerators. Please help by doing your part.
