Mission Statement: The Henderson-Henderson County Human Rights Commission endeavors to prevent and remedy issues of discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, disability and familiar status.
Purpose Statement: The Commission shall cooperate with Federal, State, and local agencies, to develop harmonious relationships. The Commission shall also enlist the support of community leaders and, civic, religious, labor, industrial and commercial groups dedicated to the improvement of such relations and elimination of discriminatory practices.

The Commission is comprised of (Seven) individuals from the community appointed by the City Mayor & County Judge Executive to serve a three-year term. The Commission holds its regularly scheduled public meetings on the (Fourth Monday) of every month at 5:30 at 1990 Barrett Ct. Suite F Meeting Room. Contact the HRC office for more details.
