The Clay Street Corridor Energy Efficiency project has been successfully completed, marking a significant step towards improving energy conservation within the community. As part of this initiative, Henderson Municipal Power & Light has launched a new program that offers attic insulation incentives to residential customers who experience energy usage at or above 200% of typical levels. To participate, homeowners must first complete a self-administered energy audit, which helps identify areas where insultation improvements can make a difference. After submitting the audit results to HMP&L, customers are eligible to be reimburses for the cost of attic insulation.
This program is designed to enhance energy efficiency, reduce utility costs, and improve overall comfort for residents.
Open to all HMP&L residential customers, it reflects a commitment to sustainable energy practices and supports efforts to create a more energy-efficient communtiy.
